            Claude Castine                           These 3 medals were sold to a collector in England c 2012.                       John Castine

                                 They were presented by the Duke of York at Victoria Park, during a huge ceremony in 1901.     

                              Lt J W Castine was in fact in charge of the biggest contingent of men 1,000 riflemen on the day.
